While every company has "limited/ltd" on the end (as this is the part that signifies you're a registered company), it's normally okay to drop that suffix in your logos and branding etc. The main places the full legal name needs to appear is on invoices, contracts, legal documents etc.

Not every company name is approved and there are some words that are reserved (eg, 'BANK' and 'ROYAL' etc). Once we receive your application, a thorough search is done and we advise you of any potential issues.

Registering for GST can be done now or later. If you wish to be GST registered straight away, you'll be able to claim GST on expenses for the business (and you'll also need to charge GST for your product and services). If you don't register for GST now, you'll need to do so once your company reaches $60k in annual turnover.
